Hey everyone!
How many questions do you ask your significant other a day? Let’s keep it real, who likes to get grilled by their SO? I found the perfect opportunity to grill my boyfriend! Since tomorrow is the holiday I wanted to keep things very lighthearted and fun. I hope you guys enjoy this Q&A I did with my boyfriend.
Q: Hi!
A: Sup.
Q: How are you?
A: Good. Better. Could be better but… you don’t want to share the food.
Q: How old are you?
A: 26 but I feel like I’m 55.
Q: Can you describe me in a single word?
A: Mhmm. *Thinks really hard* Could I describe you in one word? What would it be? Caring.
Q: Am I a glass half full or glass half empty kind of girl?
A: I don’t know what that means. When you drink your fruit punch, it’s full. I mean, you fill me up.
Me: I explained.
A: Oh, you are definitely a glass full kind of girl. I am more the negative one.
Q: What makes me different from most?
A: Uhm. I mean well the reason why I love you is pretty much everything.
Me: But what makes me different from most?
A: Your personality, you’re caring, you’re loving, you will put somebody first before yourself, I’ll tell you that. You are yourself all the time. Well, you try to be. Fun to be around. Always have good energy.
Q: What is the biggest sign of weakness in a person?
A: Fear.
Q: What am I too hard on myself about?
A: Letting people down. Uhm. Especially family. Hurting other people’s feelings. You are too concerning. Letting me down. You feel like if you make a mistake its the end of the world. I ain’t goin’ nowhere. Letting your mom down.
Q: What did you learn a little too late about me?
A: Everything has to be planned and coordinated the way you want it. It has to go exactly the way you see it. Like this blog for example. You had to do this. If this doesn’t go right, you are mad the whole day. You feel like you accomplished nothing.
Q: What are the 2 biggest lessons learned from previous relationships?
A: I could write a book on this one. The first one is never change for anyone and be yourself in a relationship. The second one is never stop chasing your goals and dreams just to please the other person in the relationship.
Q: Do you think men and women can be platonic friends?
A: I don’t even know. It depends. A guy’s view is how you see them together. It depends on certain guys. No guy is gonna be like “Hey, that’s my friend!” Well, that’s the way I see it. I can’t get mad at you for having friends, that makes me a little jealous. But if I have a friend that’s a girl you’re gonna question that too. That’s a fact. Anyway, it all depends on the guy.
Q: Who said I love you first?
A: You did.
Me: No I didn’t.
A: Who said it first then? I didn’t.
Yes, you did, you texted it to me when I told you I was gonna leave because I didn’t think you were taking me seriously.
A: Damn you got good memory.
Q: If we got married someday, where would you take me for the honeymoon?
A: You always wanted to go to Jamaica so there but I always wanted to go to Aruba. That’s MY choice.
Q: Like how I threw that in there?
A: Yea. That probably wasn’t even a real question.
I hope you guys enjoyed this little interview. I had a fun time asking my boyfriend these random questions even though our son was testing how loud he could cry.

I like the fact that your boyfriend said that being with you let him be himself. That’s the first and most important thing in a relationship.

Interesting read. It’s important to let the other party be his true self. After all, that’s why you fell in love with him in the first place. 🙂
