Hi everyone! How has everyone been? I hope well. I’ve been good. I just wanted to pop in, say hello, and give you guys a little update.
We are officially moved in to our new apartment but of course there is boxes and bags literally everywhere. It’s much harder to unpack when you have a little munchkin attached to your hip at all times.
We are so happy to finally be together especially with all thats going on. Right now we have no wifi so I haven’t even opened my laptop or anything. Im going to be posting a moving vlog eventually when I find time to edit!
Moving is so hard. I haven’t had something hot to eat in nearly 3 days. Ive probably accumulated 40k steps in the past 2 and a half days which is A LOT for me! I’m not complaining though. I am truly grateful.
As we all know 2020 has pretty much been a tragic year. I am so heartbroken with whats going on. It makes me feel sick to my stomach.
I wanted to include a quote about hope because although this world is in shambles, I have a baby. I need to believe this world wont always be this way. I spoke a bit more on the subject on my instagram.
I will be back soon with my regular content! Until then, hey iPhone blogging!
What are some things you’ve been up to?
As always, thanks so much for reading! Questions, comments, and feedback are always welcome. If you enjoyed this post, please comment, like and share! Make sure to check out my Instagram; @T_scorner and my lastest video on Youtube💋

Glad you’re done moving and I look forward to the vlog!
2020 has really been a super crazy year and everything seems to be kind of falling apart but I’m hoping that from all the chaos we can get some good too. I hope that over time we see positive changes taking place. Especially with the #blacklivesmatter movement. To be honest I’ve never really faced racism in Kenya (not saying we’re perfect we have colourism and other stuff to deal with) since the majority of people are people of colour and it was really terrifying to to see the way black people are treated in America. I remember my relatives who live in America talking about it and just feeling so scared. I can’t even imagine what it’s like to actually live there and face this on a daily basis.

Tell me about it. 2020 will probably go down in history but I too am hoping some good will come out of this. Thank you so much for sharing.
Sometimes I think about what it would he like if I moved away from America. I wonder If Id feel the same way I do here. Racism is horrible and I am so glad you don’t typically have to endure it. I still cant believe that something as little as the color of your skin can divide.

Yeah I hope all of this isn’t in vain and that at least some changes do come from it.
To be honest I think America definitely has a long way to go when it comes to race equality compared to other places but all places have their pros and cons. But I will say this- I have lived in Kenya and I’ve always felt welcome here. I’ve also travelled to a lot of African countries and have felt like they are much more inclusive than any other countries I’ve been to. There is obviously corruption and other problems but I’ve never felt targeted for my race. It’s crazy that there is even debate about racial equality. How can someone even justify treating someone differently just because of their skin colour? It’s really crazy to me.

This!!!!!! I longggg to travel to Jamaica and a few African countries to feel what its like to be truly accepted. Ya know? There’s no better comforting feeling than feeling included. It is such a shame 😔

Yeah you should definitely travel to those places when you’re able to! I was supposed to go to Jamaica and Trinidad at some point with my family because you don’t need visas if you have an African passport but I don’t think we’ll be doing any travelling this year lol. Also apparently we have family in Jamaica and Trinidad which is exciting!
