10 Things You May Not Know About Me

Don’t you just get curious about others sometimes? Let’s be real we all get a little nosey. So today we’re getting extra personal. I decided to share 10 random things you probably had no idea about me. I hope you enjoy! Let’s get into it.

1. I sort of got arrested in middle school.

I was probably in 7th grade when this happened. I was so young I don’t think it went on my record or anything, but here’s what happened. A large group of friends and I went to a place called The Gates of Hell (I know sounds crazy, present-day me wouldn’t be caught there). It’s underground and closed off so anyone who goes is considered a trespasser. I’ll never forget this day. Maybe it deserves its own storytime blog post.

2. Pop Smoke is my all-time favorite artist.

First let me start by saying, rest in paradise to this incredibly talented man. I once told my mom that I had an unhealthy obsession with him but that’s beside the point. I even mentioned that he was my secret crush in one of my YouTube videos. Not a day goes by where I don’t listen to him.

3. I have 4 tattoos.

I’ve always been a fan of tattoos. I have 4 small ones myself. I always get him in spots that aren’t easy to find or that can be easily covered up. I absolutely hate pain but I think the result is so worth it.

4. I have 10 piercings.

Okay I know it sounds like a lot and I would’ve had more, but I stopped myself. No more piercings for now. I have 4 holes in each ear, a nose piercing, and a belly piercing. I got my nose and belly done at the same time during my senior year of high school. We had just finished the cheer season forever so I went all out!

5. I’m pro-marijuana.

Yes yes yes I’m all for marijuana. The best news ever is that it was finally just legalized in my state! I don’t see anything wrong with something that can help others in many ways. For me, it’s anxiety.

6. I’m pretty sure I have Trypophobia.

It’s when you’re afraid of a bunch of circles or shapes clustered together. Just look it up. Even thinking about it gives me the chills.

7. I started doing DoorDash on the side.

This is a fairly new thing for me. If you didn’t know, I had to stop working when I got pregnant due to Hyperemesis gravidarum. Since then I’ve given all to my pregnancy and my son so making money wasn’t at the top of my list. I made money in small ways and got what I could but now that I have a reliable way to earn some income on the side, I feel a huge weight lifted off my shoulders.

8. I’ve never been to Disney.

I’ve never gone as a little girl. My mom is terrified of planes (even though she came here in one from Jamaica). I know it’s not only for kids but now that I have my son (who loves mickey mouse, I might add) I have an excuse to get to go in the future!

9. I still firmly believe in Santa and no one can tell me otherwise.

Christmas is such a special time and being a believer and having the opportunity to see other kids enjoy it is just so magical. I love to keep the tale alive and I can’t wait to make Christmas extra special this year for my family. I’m also going to be participating in Blogmas this year! Who else is excited?

10. My first real pet was a hamster named Lily.

I loved Lily with all my heart. She was the cutest little thing. I remember she would always escape out of her cage and we would hear her rustling around all hours in the night.

Well, those are all the semi juicy secrets I have for you today. I realized that a lot of them deserve their own post so definitely look forward to that in the future. I hope you enjoyed it! What might we not know about you? Let me know in the comments below!

  2. Your blog post was juicy. Lots of facts I didn’t know about you. I haven’t been to Disney either. I feel like people who smoke weed have very strong feelings towards it. Since I don’t smoke idk what I’m missing out on.

  4. It’s really helpful for my friends , some who have health problems or just need way to sleep . Also I think they are going to make it where if anyone had a felony from possessing it , it will be taken off the records . Which is really good ☺️
And yeah , I didn’t actually tear the hole thank goodness , but stretched it . Definitely hurt and my jewelry needs to be bigger lol .

  7. Thats one of the best parts about it, it’s so versatile! I’m so happy it will be taken off records. It’s about time!

Piercings can be risky 😣 My son tries to drag all of mine out. He sometimes succeeds with the nose.

  8. Yeah this was my first year doing blogtober. Never heard of it before lol and it was a challenge to think of topics to write about everyday. I only wish I had more fall-themed & halloween-themed posts lol

  9. I’m definitely pro-marijuana too and I’m so happy it was finally legalized in your state- it’s definitely super helpful and has been the only thing that has helped me with my anxiety and depression. I’m not a huge Pop Smoke fan but I do like some of his songs a lot- it’s very sad that he was taken so soon. I have trypophobia too and clusters of holes or just tiny holes in general make me feel so gross. I love Christmas too just because it’s so festive and fun- I’ve been listening to a lot of Christmas songs lately lol!

  11. Just came across your blog and so glad that I did 🙂 It inspires me to share more about myself on my blog as well. Somewhere along the way I got so obsessed with the ‘beauty’ part that I abandoned the life style and diary aspect that I prided myself so much on when I first created it. I love your space on the web, thanks for sharing.
