November 2020 Favorites!

It’s that time again. I can’t believe the year will be over so shortly, It’s been a year since I last updated my “monthly” favorites. I mean, what did I expect from someone who doesn’t really like constant change. So, think of this as some of my favorite products from the whole year! Just like last time I included some of Isaiah’s favorites (or my favorites for him) as well. Keep reading if you want to know what we’re obsessing over!

Fitbit Charge 2

Amazon.com: Fitbit Charge 2 Heart Rate + Fitness Wristband, Black, Small (US Version), 1 Count: Health & Personal Care

If I had to choose between my Apple Watch and Fitbit I’d of course choose my Fitbit. I’ve always had one but I love it more now more than ever. Now that my little man is on the move that means I am too so It’s fun to see how many steps I’ve gotten by the end of the day. My favorite feature is getting a text or call notifications on it. I am usually not near my phone or just don’t hear it because it’s always on silent. The battery also lasts me a surprisingly long time in between charges.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Perfect Brow Pencil

Amazon.com: Anastasia Beverly Hills - Perfect Brow Pencil - Auburn: Premium Beauty

I had to have spoken about this on my blog before because I’m obsessed. This pencil still impresses me with each use. I’ve used a lot of different eyebrow pencils in my day since you guys know my biggest insecurity is my brows. I highly recommend this long-lasting brow pencil. It’s the only one I’ll buy for over 20 dollars (it’s $23).

Lancome Idôle Eau De Parfum

Idole, A New Fragrance - Lancome Paris

This stuff smells amazing. I received it in my Fall Skin Prep VoxBox to try it out and I haven’t put it down since. This tops all my scents at the moment.

L’Oréal Collagen Moisture Filler Facial Day Night Cream

L'Oreal Paris Anti Aging Face Moisturizer Cream with Collagen, Day & Night Skin Care, Fights Wrinkles + Restores Moisture, 50 mL: Amazon.ca: Beauty

Looking for an inexpensive face moisturizer that actually does the job? This might be the one for you. I’ve never been one to spend insane amounts of money on products. So when I found this one and it actually did a good job I was shocked. It’s a 2 in one job so there is no need to buy a cream for morning and night. That’s also an easier way to save money.

Vaseline Intensive Care Calm Healing Lotion

Vaseline Intensive Care Calm Healing Lotion - 20.3 fl oz in 2020 | Healing lotion, Lotion for dry skin, Healing dry skin

I was never a fan of Vaseline lotions. Anyone who knows me knows that I’ve used Aveeno for my sensitive skin for years. Y’all know Aveeno can be expensive. After downsizing and finding ways to spend wiser I decided to give Vaseline a shot. Their bottles are much bigger which last longer. This lotion smells absolutely amazing. It has a subtle lavender scent and goes on smoothly.

Baby Dove Rich Moisture Lotion & Body Wash

Baby Dove Rich Moisture Bundle, Tip to T- Buy Online in Jamaica at Desertcart

I always want to make sure that I’m using sensitive products that aren’t harsh on my son’s skin. I also like products for him that don’t have such strong fragrances. This has done a good job at that. I’ve always been a fan of Dove though. I use Dove sensitive skin foam wash, myself.

Gerber Organic Grain & Grow Bars

Gerber Up Age Organic Grain & Grow Soft Baked Grain Bars Banana Mango Pineapple, 8Count: Amazon.com: Grocery & Gourmet Food

These little bars are the perfect little snack for Isaiah. I think they are so cute and literally lil’. They are like mini fig bars. They are perfect for throwing in my bag when we are rushing or just need a snack for on the go. My little man loves them. He loves both the raspberry pomegranate and banana mango pineapple.

Moesha, The Parkers, & Sister Sister

I’ve been binge-watching these iconic black sitcoms for the last few months since Netflix released them. I used to watch them when I was younger but watching them now as an adult feels so much more special. They all give me a good laugh but still include lots of important storylines and so on. Everyone should watch at least one time in their life!

  1. Thanks for sharing! I wanted to say about Vaseline though is I have liked them even less because they rebranded their petroleum jelly as healing jelly. Makes me suspicious at a time when environmental advocacy is getting stronger and oil companies are doing dirty tricks

  2. Vaseline does wonders! So many uses and little to no irritation on the skin.

I like Anastasia brow products too, but I ordered a brush brow that I don’t know how to use. Tried it a few times and it was too unnatural. I’m using this Korean brand, Etude, (available on Amazon) and it’s much cheaper and easy to use. I like how the end of the pencil is curved to make application easier.

  3. Great post!
I love Sister Sister and was sooo excited to see that it was on Netflix! It was one of my favorites growing up . I remember watching it on Disney Channel! ❤
Dove is a great brand & that baby snack looks yummy. I almost want it for myself lol 🙂
One of my favorite baby products is the Baby Einstein Learning Table — so fun & musical & features 3 languages ❤
One of my favorite adult products is my Aroma Kettle I got from Target last year. I love that I can simply fill it with water and then let it heat up. I use it all the time to boil water for hot chocolate and tea. Love it!

  4. Ahhh I’m so with you there! A lot of the brow products end up looking so unnatural. That is why I was so shocked when I found this pencil specifically.

Also I’ve actually heard of that watching a Korean beauty haul video! ☺️ We love an easy application.

  5. Ooh I used to watch Sister Sister reruns on TV when I was a kid!! I’ve never tried the Anastasia Brow pencil- I usually use the elf one- but I have heard really good things about it and I actually bought one on sale a while back but for some reason I haven’t tried it. I literally just remembered I got it because of this post lol!

  6. Thanks for reading! Disney Channel had ALL the hits. I miss those days!

I’m definitely going to look into the Learning Table. Thanks! My little one gets so tired of things fast. Also what a coincidence that you mentioned a kettle since im in the market for one!

  7. Awesome, my little one loves the Einstein’s learning table. There’s actually a review & link on my blog if you want to check it out. And the kettle is amazing, definitely something that I use nearly everyday

  8. Is it bad that I want to try the baby food grain bars ? I love all three of those flavors 💕 Also I had no idea that Sister Sister was on Netflix , I used to watch that when it was on disney Channel along with Smart Guy.

  9. Not to mention that so many options are available! It’s hard to pick one and then it’s disappointing when it doesn’t work out.
Oh that remind me: Maybeline has one that comes with a mascara brush. That worked well too.
