My First Mothers Day

2 years ago I would’ve never expected to be celebrating this day for myself. Heck even last year when I was pregnant, it still wasn’t all that real.

On October 2, 2019, I became a mother. That was the day my life completely changed. I’d never felt a love so strong. I’d never wanted to nurture anything or anyone so badly. The past 7 months I’ve learned that not every day will be easy. In fact, it’s going to be very hard but at the end of the day, it’s always going to be worth it.

I am so thankful to have given life to a perfect baby boy.

I am so lucky I am able to watch you peacefully sleep at night.

I am so positive that I was meant to be your mom.

I am so mad at how fast time is flying by.

I am grateful to feel a love so incredibly strong.

Happy Mother’s Day to ALL the moms out there! Birth-moms, stepmoms, adopted moms, foster moms, legal guardians, and grandmas. You are all incredible!

We have such an amazing job of raising and showing our babies the world. We work so hard. At first, I was not as excited but today is the day to acknowledge US! You guys know once the kids come ‘round moms kinda sorta don’t exist. Cheers to all of you lovely ladies!

P.S. I’ve been wanting to wear this super cute dress from Boohoo for so long. I figured now was the time but I also didn’t want to show my legs. SO I wore olive green joggers underneath and told my boyfriend to take a picture of only my top half. Ha! I looked like a hot mess!
