Last night I ate a whole bag of Knorr Pasta Sides.
And it felt like old times…
Happy Sunday everyone! I had a different idea for a blog post planned but we’ll scratch that because I’m still not over the great feeling I had last night while eating pasta. For a while now I’ve been on this automated routine. I wake up, I take care of my son, I cook, I clean, I blog. I do all that with very few moments to really take care of myself. And when I say “take care of myself”, I mean multiple different ways but ultimately I meant giving myself a chance to do things strictly for me.
What does Pasta Sides have to do with anything?

When I was going through my party phase, It was pretty common for me to come home after a long night and make pasta. The pasta was like a drunken relief for me. It meant that I was home safe and that I was going to get a good night’s sleep from stuffing my face. When I was pregnant I stocked up on loads of Cheddar Broccoli Pasta Sides. I would eat a whole bag for lunch and sometimes dinner. I always found it so comforting eating this in my bed wondering what my baby would be like.
Last night after a few glasses of wine and successfully recording our first episode of my boyfriend and I’s new podcast (that’ll be coming soon hopefully), I ate a whole bag of Pasta Sides. It felt so nostalgic. It felt exactly like old times. I was able to just be in the moment enjoying my simple meal.
That’s really all there is to it. I’m so content with how this month ended. I started with hopes to get back on track this month and that’s exactly what I did. It wasn’t a quick process and it’s still not over but I’m already 10 steps ahead of where I was last month. I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend and also wrapped up the month

I’ve never had these pasta sides but now I’m curious to try them. I’ve had Uncle Ben’s bistro express before, but that’s rice and not as exciting as pasta 😂
Today I hate 3 donuts and felt sick for the rest of the day. Lesson learned: stick to savery dishes for now on.

Thanks for sharing your memories with pasta! I also love pasta noodles, in particular ramen which is a comfort food for me in times of stress, loneliness, or sadness.

It’s a constant battle of me eating carbs for comfort vs. trying to lose/maintain weight. But.. sometimes for our mental health the carbs need to win! 🙂

Thats so weird!! Sometimes I get nauseous after eating too much sweet stuff too! I get so excited and then regret it later lol!
Pasta Sides comes in all different types! I’m now going to google Uncle Bens bistro express. Thanks for sharing! ☺️

Try the cheesy broccoli one. It’s really good! I hardly ever have it because it’s high in sodium (but aren’t all delicious things high in sodium?)
