To the Kind Lady Who Returned My Wallet:

Today has been a very off day for me. I’m not sure why or how. I just know.

I did my mom a favor by running into the supermarket to buy some chicken breasts for my dog. She had a long day at work and it was the least I could do for her.

In the parking lot, I realized I didn’t have my wallet and I was driving without a license. 🤦🏾‍♀️

My mom just gave me her card since we were already there and then I would go home right after.

I went into the store, had a wonderful conversation with another lady, paid for my groceries and left.

When I got in the car, I realized her card was missing. Why on earth am I forgetting everything? I search everywhere. The car. My pockets. I even went back around the parking lot. I just couldn’t find it but I swore I put it back in my pocket.

Before I could have an actual panic attack, I went back inside and asked customer service if they’d seen a debit card. Luckily they did! I stupidly left my mom’s debit card behind.

Someone was nice enough to return it to customer service. All I could think was thank God.

While driving home, my grandma called my mom to tell her that a lady stopped by to drop my wallet off.

WHAT! WHEN DID I EVEN LOSE MY WALLET?

All I could think was God was really on my side. All these good things are happening to me and I am so grateful.

So thank you to the kind person who returned my mom’s debit card and thank you to the kind lady who returned my wallet.
