Hey everyone and happy October, a very special time of the year! I’m very excited about this month and I’ll tell you why in a bit. First, I just wanted to mention that I’ll probably only do monthly lookaheads for the months that I actually have stuff to look forward to. Even though every month, every day, and every second is a blessing and something to look forward to. Y’all know what I mean!
The weather has already started to change and in a way, it’s feeling pretty bittersweet to me. I love being all cozy and cuddled up with blankets or cute fuzzy sweaters but it’s not all fun and games when it comes to waking up in the morning. My bed yearns for my presence on a cold morning.
This month is also Breast cancer awareness month. This month we spread awareness about the impact of breast cancer. You can check out the National Breast Cancer Foundation site to find out ways to get involved. #thinkpink
So I think I’ll just list some of the major things I’m excited about this month. Make sure to let me know in the comments some things that you’re excited about!
Isaiah’s 2nd Birthday — I can’t believe my baby is turning 2. It’s amazing being able to see him grow into such a smart little boy. He is just as excited for his birthday because he automatically assumes there will be a birthday cake. We’re keeping this year very low key but I know Isaiah will enjoy it no matter what because he’ll be with his best friends, mom, and dad.
Spo0o0o00oky Season – I feel like this time of year can put a smile on anyone’s face (at least I hope). Almost everyone can relate to the feeling of Halloween as a child. There’s this strong nostalgia that fills the air. It’s also relieving to see people step back from their serious lives to enjoy for a bit. Isaiah is so excited about Halloween based off what he has seen in books, on tv, etc. He walks around with his orange halloween bucket saying trick or treat. Then he’ll put his own stuff in it and say thank you. It’s the cutest!
Pumpkin Everything – Pumpkin picking should be fun this year, being that Isaiahs wants every single one he sees. Im more excited for the homemade desserts I’m going to make. Last year I made a delicious pumpkin bread and some muffins with a streusel on top. I cant wait to make it again. Now I know I can make it any time of the year but at this time… it just hits different.
It’s the little thing’s that excite me y’all. There are lots of other stuff going down in October that I’m really excited about. Like, family birthdays and going to a winery with my cousin. But, thats it for now. I’ll keep it brief. I just wanted to hop on here and say happy October!

Same I’m so excited to Spooky season ! I do want to do some sort of halloween dress up/makeup even if I only stay home , but not sure exactly what it will be .
