25 Reminders on My 25th Birthday

Happy May 4th, everyone! In honor of my birthday today, I decided to share 25 reminders for myself and anyone else who may need them. Enjoy!

1.)DRINK WATER!

I have to be this vulgar or else I won’t listen to myself lol

2.) There are gonna be times when you feel so lonely, but just know that God is always with you.

3.) You should not dwell on things from the past or that are out of your control. What’s the point? You can’t do anything about it. Why should you let something else control how you feel?

4.) Although you don’t watch Star Wars, you’re still cool because your birthday is on Star Wars day. May the 4th be with you. 🖖🏾

5.) Continue to love yourself first, because there’s no way you can properly love someone else the right way if you don’t.

6.) You are an amazing mother.

These next 3 come from mom:

7.) Remember to take your vitamins because you aren’t getting any younger. As we get older we don’t have as much time or energy to see every doctor or get every test. Do what you can from home.

8.) Say your prayers every day and continue to keep a relationship with God. He listens and amazing things do happen.

9.) Make sure your skincare regimen is on point. (I’m trying but also struggling at the same time.) See a dermatologist!

10.) You like what you like, whether it’s food, music, clothes, etc. No other opinions matter because they are not the ones affected by it. If it makes you happy then so be it.

11.) Listen to “3 Nights” by Dominic Fike when you need a little bit of a pick me up.

12.) Try not to rush and bask in every moment. You won’t get that moment back.

13.) You’ve already had your quarter-life crisis before turning 25 so you should be good for the next quarter… right?

14.) Remember to stay active and exercise! You’re not a competitive cheerleader or dancer anymore. Your body is not going to get to where you want it to be by doing nothing. It also does wonders for clearing the mind. Yoga has been in the top pick!

15.) Make sure to get your “me time”. Life can get hectic between parenting, work, and home life. It’s imperative to motherhood! If you can’t find the time, then make it.

16.) Remember, everyone has something going on. Be kind to others.

17.) You are your biggest advocate so it’s only fair that you believe in yourself to the fullest!

18.) No, you’ll never have a personal driver no matter hate driving sometimes.

19.) It’s totally okay to make mistakes because that’s how you learn. Take constructive criticism and run with it. Come back on top!

20.) Don’t let anyone take away your candy!!! So what if you like to eat candy after a super long day and maybe a nice legal joint. 😏

21.) Keep manifesting what you want for your life and watch the universe take control.

22.) Life doesn’t get easier but it can feel that way become depending on what YOU do to get there.

23.) Create your own safe space.

25.) You’re blessed. You’re healthy and happy. You have so many people that love you. You live a good life.
