Revlon So Fierce! Review | Blogmas Day 11

Good evening everybody! I hope everyone is enjoying their Friday. I’ve been keeping it pretty boring at home so I thought I would test out the new Revlon So Fierce Vox Box that was kindly given to me complimentary of Influenster. I get to make myself all cute and try new products. I always have so much fun reviewing makeup because it’s not my typical thing. 

Triple-Stepped Eyelash Curler

Revlon promises gorgeous curled lashes in just one squeeze with their new 3 tiered curler. They say it curls the lashes in 3 places at once. Lash curlers aren’t for everyone but they are for me. I have pretty full but short eyelashes so I’m always looking for ways to have them appear lengthier. Without even using the curler on my lashes yet I automatically felt a bit skeptical about it. It doesn’t feel as durable as my NYX curler (if that makes sense). I went in for my first crimp and it was a bit uncomfortable. Maybe that’s because the lash pads are too thick for my short lashes. I am happy with the curl action despite the issues. They curled up really nicely and held their shape.

Big Bad Lash Mascara

This mascara is said to be the baddest yet. It claims to provide full fanned out lashes without clumping, smudging, flaking, or fading. You can even wear it for up to 24 hours and it won’t budge. This mascara also tints the lashes darker with daily use in as little as 7 days.

Other than a brow pencil, mascara is one of my favorite makeup products to use. A nice bold lash can do wonders for your look. The mascara component is thick, bright, and red. I think it’s so cute. I have zero complaints about this mascara y’all. I only used one coat and I achieved the look that I was going for. My lashes appear longer and more fanned out.

Chrome Ink Liquid Liner

First, let me start by saying I was most excited about this. I love adding little pops of color to my ever so simple makeup looks. I must say that the product didn’t really come through for me. I kept adding more coats on top to see if it would appear brighter on my skin but that didn’t make much of a difference. The liner itself is sort of like a marker so it’s really easy to use. It also has a nice tip on it. It’s really cute and has potential but it just didn’t work much for me.

Conclusion

All in all, I’m not mad at the products. I liked the mascara a lot and will continue to wear it. I liked the formula of the liner but the color didn’t pop as much as I’d like it to. I want to try it in a different color to see if I’ll get better results. I have my eye on the Ultraviolet Foil color! My least favorite was the feel of the eyelash curler but it definitely did a good job at curling my lashes.
