1. Take 3 deep breaths.

2. Embrace your surroundings and acknowledge what’s around you.

3. Name 5 things you can see.

4. Name 4 things you can touch.

5. Name 3 things you can hear.

6. Name 2 emotions you can feel.

7. Name 1 thing you can smell.

These are steps that I’ve used to help calm me down in moments when I haven’t felt my best self. Remember, dont think of these as steps but as tools to help calm your racing mind. Here’s to a more peaceful you!
