Hi everyone and happy Tuesday! I hope you’re all enjoying your night. I, on the other hand, am not and here’s why.
For the last 2 months or so I’ve been binge-watching Gilmore Girls every night before I go to bed. When I have the chance of course. Its quite simple. I put Netflix on at night and wake up to Netflix in the morning or a dead laptop.
Never did I think I’d be waking up to a BROKEN LAPTOP.
I guess now I should add this to my super long list of fails or eff ups. It just seems like all the wrong things are happening to me one after another.
The sad part is, I’m so used to it that when I noticed my laptop broke I barely reacted. I was upset of course, but not enough to shed any tears. Which is unusual for me because I cry for everything.
It was also 4 am when I woke up so that could have played a big part.
Now how can a blogger be a blogger without her laptop? It feels almost impossible at this point.
I’m also a stay at home mom so I rely on my laptop often for a lot of things. Most importantly, income. So now what am I gonna do? A new laptop is so expensive and money is tight.
Something like this would usually trigger me and cause me to react in a way that I’d rather not but instead I went for a different method. As soon as I woke up in the morning I created a to-do list to keep myself occupied in a healthy and productive way.
Today’s tasks included and in no particular order:
- Wash bottles
- Sterilize new bottles (which was exciting because I love getting new bottles)
- Pack out clothes
- Bathe Isaiah
- Clean humidifier
- Reply to comments
- Rant about my laptop
So I may have left out a task and I won’t say which one (*cough the gym cough*). I didn’t get too upset about this because I had just got my hair done and my scalp still hurt from all of the tight braids.
Instead of being upset and moping around, I realized I could use my iPad because it’s better than not having anything at all. So bare with me since I am so used to doing everything on my laptop. I’m not going to let this slow me down.
God only gives you stuff he knows you can handle and that’s what’s been keeping me going.
Now my question for you guys is, which do you prefer more? A laptop, phone, or iPad/Tablet.
