3 Things I Learned Today | 500 Followers on TianiAngela!

Thanksgiving weekend is finally over y’all. This whole week was draining. I made life a lot easier for myself by taking it all the way easy this weekend. So glad I did because I was able to rest my body and boy did I need some rest. For today’s post, I wanted to share 3 things I learned today, November 29.

1. Girl, you are NOT a cheerleader anymore.

For those of you who don’t know I used to be a competitive cheerleader in high school 5 years ago. I don’t know why I keep attempting tumbling moves as if my body is still used to it. Long story short I wanted to impress my nieces by doing a simple roundoff and I somehow hurt my shoulder. I laughed because this is the 3rd time I tried to be a cheerleader again and it backfired. Lol!

2. Always go to the dollar tree or Walmart first.

I hate when I see something I got cheaper at a different store. My new rule is always to check the dollar store then Walmart before I continue to any other store. You’d be so surprised how much you can snag at the Dollar Tree. Walmart has everything you can find at literally every store but in one place and usually at a discounted price. I finally finished my Xmas decor shopping and Walmart was the icing on top of my shopping cake.

3. My mom knows who Jake Paul is.

I’m not into boxing but I know many people tuned into the Mike Tyson fight for charity last night. One of those people was my mom. Today she called me talking about a young popular boxer on social media. I was like mom are you talking about Jake Paul? That’s exactly who she was talking about. I had no idea he was on real-life pay per view! I’d like to also note that I am not a fan of Jake Paul and he actually annoys me.

Well, what did you learn today?

  1. Hahah Mom’s have a way of surprising us ,my Mom surprised me when she told me she liked Killer Mike 12 years ago . It was so surprising , but I guess she read a news article about him donating money and clothes to hurricane Katrina victims . Also Congrats on the 500 follows ! Thats awesome 💕

  2. I’m sorry about you hurting your shoulder. I understand the feeling though. I used to be a ballet dancer and there are certain things I cannot do anymore after 10 years out of the game!

  3. Your cheerleader story made me crack up XD. And congrats on reaching 500 by the way! It’s well-deserved. I guess that the dollar store is the U.S. equivalent to the pound store, it’s crazy how you can find things like that all over the world.

  4. Nice lessons, sorry about your shoulder and your acceptance of the truth about cheer leading after these 3 experiences. Congratulations on your milestone. I’ve learnt to look afresh at perspectives in life after struggling with a situation and almost giving up only to look at it with different set of glasses.

  5. Thank you so much for sharing what you learned! I think so many of us can relate. I know I can.

I am really through with it for sure this time. The second incident landed me in the hospital and I left with a sling. You’d think I’d stop there. 🤣

  6. Omg congratulations on the followers- you so deserve every one of them and so many more!! Lol I don’t like Jake Paul either I think he’s so annoying and pretty much a professional troll. The Dollar Tree and Walmart are so great to find affordable decorations and just affordable stuff in general!
