Fall Bucket List Update | Blogmas Day 2

Happy hump day and day 2 of Blogmas! I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that I’ll be blogging every single day this month. But it’s happening and I’m ready! Today I’ll be giving you guys an update on what we actually did on Our Fall Bucket List. I know it’s still technically Fall but since December hit, it’s all about the holidays. Come back tomorrow to see what’s on our Winter/Holiday bucket list!

Visit a pumpkin patch ✔️

This was a really fun day. I’m so glad I was able to record it too. You can watch my YouTube video here! This particular pumpkin patch had lots of cool things to do like look at animals and take fun pictures in cutouts. Isaiah enjoyed himself. He didn’t want to let go of his mini pumpkin.

Go on a hayride ✔️

The pumpkin patch we went to also offered hayrides. We went all around the farm and stopped by the cornfields. We got to walk around and explore on our own which was nice. I loved all the fresh air.

Go apple picking ✔️👎🏾

So I didn’t necessarily get to go apple picking but I would like to share that I got a ton of apples and baked my very first apple pie. Sadly, I’m allergic to apples so I didn’t try it but my taste testers have eaten seconds and thirds!

Fright Fest ✔️

I did end up going to Fright Fest this year but of course, it wasn’t the same. We’ll try again next time. Six Flags also offers Holiday in the Park and it looks like so much fun. Unfortunately, I won’t be going but hopefully in the future!

Carve pumpkins ✔️

I got to experience my bf’s first time carving a pumpkin! We had fun doing it and just getting to spend time together. A lot of elbow grease was needed but I think they came out pretty cool!

Watch Halloween movies ✔️

I got to watch Hocus Pocus, Beetlejuice, and Halloween Town. I’m always satisfied with those classic movies.

Make pumpkin muffins ✔️

I wish I could go back to the day I made these. I want to eat them all over again they were that delicious. They were a hit with my family as well! I’ll definitely make them again when I get the time.

Visit a vineyard ✔️

I finally got to go wine tasting with my girlfriends. I’ve never done it before but it was a fun experience and I’d do it again. We got to try 6 different wines and my favorite was called Black Dirt Red. I’m a dry wine kind of girl. What about you?

Jump in the leaves ✔️

This was a simple task. I’d be pretty upset if I missed so many easy opportunities to just jump in leaves. They are all around me!

Eat candy corn ✔️

I used to be so obsessed with candy corn. I could finish a big quicker than anyone you know (probably). This year I realized that they are just not for me anymore. I still have a pretty full bag and basically only used them as decoration on my desserts. I ate maybe a handful. I can’t believe I’m saying this but I probably won’t add this to my bucket list next year. Lol!

Visit the dentist attraction ✔️👎🏾

I didn’t get to actually visit. I was just able to drive past it on my way home from somewhere so I couldn’t get any pictures. I’m glad I got to see it though! It was still decorated so creatively just like I remembered as a little girl.

What are some fun things you’ve done this Fall?

So since my Fall bucket list isn’t so Christmassy, I want to show you a sneak peek at one of my favorite holiday décor pieces. I was having a lazy moment and decided instead of replacing my Fall living room photo, I’d just dress it up! Ok, no more Fall themed stuff, I promise.

If you or anyone you know is participating in Blogmas let me know in the comments so I can check them out and add their link to my original Blogmas post!

  1. I think I’ll do some light baking , maybe not as much as previous years due to circumstances . But I have started putting lights up in the house . Tomorrow I’ll put some lights outside too

  2. I’m glad you were able to still do some fun stuff this fall despite everything going on! I rarely drink but when I first moved to Niagara I went to a couple of wine tastings because apparently this area is known for it’s wine. It was super fun!
