1 year ago today I gave up completely and landed myself in the psychiatric ward of St. Josephs Hospital. 1 year ago today I almost killed myself. 1 year ago today was the first day of my new life.
Hello, everyone and happy anniversary to me! It is so unbelievable to think what life was like for me this time last year. I was an absolute wreck. There wasn’t a day when I wasn’t thinking about suicide. The thought was literally consuming me. I had the darkest cloud over my head. I never thought there would be a day I would finally be able to be myself again.
I went to therapists and tried different apps but nothing has helped me as much as writing does. There are so many types of people out there going through things. It is always so nice to know you are never alone. With that being said, I am happy to announce my first ever giveaway!
