All About a Taurus

Hey there everyone! One of my goals for the new year was to learn a little more about astrology. I was always interested in it but I never took the time to go any further than reading my horoscope. Do you guys read your horoscopes?

I didn’t want to learn too much at once but I must say I learned quite a lot and I loved it. So here’s what I know so far.

Astrology is the study of movements and positions of the sun, moon, planets, and stars in the belief that they influence human behavior.

There’s so much more to astrology than I thought. There are so many different factors that play into it like different elements and signs. Such as sun, rising, and moon signs. As well as fire, water, air, and earth signs. But enough about that, let’s talk about the sign Taurus.

If you didn’t guess, I’m a Taurus. Taurus dates run from April 20th to May 20th. Can you guess when my birthday is? No? Okay, it’s May 4th aka Star Wars Day! Sadly, I am not a Star Wars fan.

Our symbol or glyph is the bull’s head. Which is why some people say we are stubborn, taurusbull-headed people. A bull is an animal that comes with lots of strength. They are very powerful. They are known for pushing forward slowly but at a steady pace. Determined is a good word for it too.

Taurus is also grounded by the element of Earth. They say that the earth sign people are of course, “earthy” and that they blend in with their natural habit. Some other traits of a Taurus are that they are dependable, focused, generous, and caring. All true if I must say so myself.

The most common negative traits of a Taurus that I’ve heard are stubborn, lazy, temperamental, and self-indulgent. I definitely won’t lie, I can agree with 3 out of the 4. I’m sure the people who know me best can agree too but it’s okay because these are some of the things that make me, me sometimes.

Let me know what your zodiac sign is and what some of your traits are!

  1. No wonder we’re so similar! I’m not sure if you’ve heard of the May Fourth Movement but it’s an interesting historical event that I just remembered because of your birthday.
