Hi guys! Thank you to everyone who participated in my little virtual game. I had so much fun with that post. Now for the final reveal. The lie was…
I can play the piano.
I absolutely cannot play the piano unless you count the children’s song Mary had a little lamb? All those piano lessons as a child definitely did not stick (besides Mary had a little Lamb). I was occupied with other things so it’s okay. I still actually have my keyboard and beginner’s piano books stored away. Maybe one day Isaiah can use them!
I was actually on television twice! Once for my 18th birthday in 2016 and once during one of my high school football games. I’m not really a fan of Wendy anymore but one of my best friends and I got to sit front row at the Wendy Williams Show! It was quite the experience. That’s definitely a story for another time though.
I’m not sure if I mentioned this but I was a high school cheerleader! These were some of the BEST years of my whole entire life. I remember one time a game was being streamed on our local television station and I was cheering, of course. One of my family members had seen me. Ha!
I had a lot of fun with this post and I definitely recommend you try it!
Review time!
So I’ve always wanted to review some products for you guys but I just wasn’t sure how to incorporate it. I’ll just be going with the flow y’all! I want to be able to share what works for me and my new lifestyle and even things that work for my son! These are all my own opinions.
Nowadays I rarely ever have time to do anything for myself. I used to get my nails done at the salon every 3 to 5 weeks up until I had Isaiah. I stopped because mostly I didn’t have the time and I needed to really save money.
Luckily for me, a few months ago I was gifted a couple of sets of press-on nails from Influenster and imPress Nails. It couldn’t have come at a better time.
I received 4 styles from the imPress Couture Collection. They’re in the style Lavish, Luxurious, Sassy Queen, and Jelly Fantasy. I’ve only tried 2 so far and I’ve loved both. The packs I’ve opened came with 30 nails, a mini nail file, a manicure stick, and a prep pad for cleaning.

What I love most about this is the idea of beautiful nails in literally less than half the time. I have no problem with giving myself my own simple manicure (which I have been doing) but it gets old sometimes. I also don’t usually have that luxury to just take time out my day to paint my nails and wait for them to dry. Not with a needy infant. I cant imagine nail polish getting in his mouth.
I also liked the sizing of the nails. They fit mine nicely. I have pretty skinny fingers and smallish nails.
I like the many designs they offer too. Not even the different styles but the different options within those styles. For example, you can choose a nail with jewels or a simple matte nail for your ring finger.

For the Luxurious set, I found that as soon as I finished applying them, one of the gems fell off. I was a little bummed but it’s nothing a little glue couldn’t fix. No biggie.
The Luxurious set also fell off much faster than the other. I’m not too sure why but again I’m sure if you’re looking more long term, its nothing glue couldn’t fix.
Is it mom-approved?
It sure is. I would definitely recommend this. Especially if you’re going out last minute and your nails look like crap. Or even if you just want to pamper yourself. Both of these scenarios have happened to me.
For the most part, they stayed on while handling Isaiah. You guys know he’s 6 months, so he’s a lot more active than usual. I wouldn’t keep these on too long because I am still scared of scratching him by accident or something.
Long review short. I would definitely pick these up again in the future when I run out. I think they are great to have on hand and for a good price. Let me know if you’ve ever tried these or if you have a favorite press on nail brand.
As always, thanks so much for reading! Questions, comments, and feedback are always welcome. If you enjoyed this post, please comment, like and share! Make sure to check out my Instagram; @T_scorner 💋

It’s such a cool talent! Thank you! How often do you paint your nails? I’ve given up on nice nails ALL the time 😂

Omg I was right!! Woohoo! Also not a huge Wendy fan but it’s so cool that you went and were part of the show!
I really like the way the nails look! I’m also one of those people who got my nails done all the time but after starting university I didn’t really have a lot of time to go out and get them done. This seems like a good alternative I’ll definitely check them out.

Oh yeah I never get press on nails I just get manicures because press on ones annoy the hell out of me. I think when you put them on yourself you do it exactly how you like them which might be why you prefer these. That’s why I want to give them a try and see if I like them.
