Thank you so much Pooja for nominating me to do this tag! I loved reading through yours and it made me excited to do mine. This is a great tag to do if you need to put a smile on your face. It’s like going down memory lane for me.
List out 10 of your favorite feelings! It’s honestly just that simple!
My Favorite Feelings
A good cry after a movie
I don’t know yall. I can’t be the only one that actually enjoys crying from a movie sometimes. There’s just something about releasing all that tension and stress without all the hard parts. If that makes sense… Does that make sense? After I’m finished it’s like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders.
The feeling of warmth I get on a cold night next to my boyfriend
For example, some of the best nights I’ve shared with my boyfriend is when we’ve gone to Fright Fest at Six Flags. Of course, I’m obsessed with Six Flags and all things amusement park but what I really look forward to is cuddling up next to him on those hour-long lines under the lights and sometimes stars. It’s one of those moments I’ve always dreamed of when I thought about love.
Laughing so hard it’s almost impossible to breath
I’ve shared a ton of these moments with friends and family. The fact that we are able to laugh this hard is such a great feeling. I love that at that moment, it feels like everything is just at a standstill. Everything is okay. It’s also really funny to hear other people’s extreme laughs. Or when we all drop to the ground together to laugh till we cry!
Connecting with new people
I am so thankful for this opportunity to meet and connect with other people. I feel so lucky to get to know and learn new things about different people. I really enjoy it. You never know whos out there! I have discovered that Pooja and I have a scary amount of things in common. It’s so fun to keep uncovering more similarities!
Being in an airport
Okay, hear me out. I think being in an airport is one of the greatest feelings ever! People usually give me the side-eye but I just can’t help it. I enjoy the whole process. I love waking up early to arrive 2 hours early at the airport. I enjoy all of the checkpoints (even though they are a hassle). I think it is so worth it if that means you get to go to another place in the world. No matter where it is. Being IN the plane for X amount of hours in that upright position…? Yea I don’t really enjoy that part as much but what can we do about it. I try to fall asleep or watch as many movies as I can.
When Isaiah rests his head on my shoulder
It doesn’t get any better than this. The feeling of unconditional love is magical. I love knowing that he feels at home in mommy’s arms. When this happens it’s like nothing else matters.
Attending a wedding
I’ve always loved weddings. Even as a little girl I remember watching Four Weddings on TLC whenever I got the chance. I was stoked whenever they had a marathon which was usually most of the time. Weddings bring everyone together in the best way possible and it’s just so nice to see that romance still lives. Weddings are beautiful nights to remember not only for the happy couple but for the guests too.
Fun fact: My brother just got engaged to his fiance! That means a wedding is in the crystal ball.
Being a passenger while driving back from the beach
First I want to say that I hate driving. If I don’t have to, I won’t. Unless its one of those days but I would much rather be in the passenger seat. Ha! I like to go to the beach really early in the morning and stay till around 2 or 3 pm. The drive back usually involves way too much traffic which makes the drive even longer. I love this because I can see the sunset as I drive while listening to some of my favorite songs. I also love the feeling after being at the beach all day. It makes for a better shower and better sleep!
Getting food after you’ve been waiting so long
If you’re anything like me, you get HANGRY. Give me the food or you’ll get the ‘tude. No, but seriously, I am not the same when I am hangry. When I finally get to eat it’s like nothing even happened and I’m good as new!
Hangry- bad-tempered or irritable as a result of hunger. (Hungry + angry)
Having a “me” day
As I’ve learned with being a mom, all your time is shared. I love being so close to my little one all the time but sometimes mama needs a break! I enjoy having a me day where I can completely kick back and relax without a worry because I know Isaiah is in good hands.
