What’s New? Let’s Catch Up!

Why hello there everyone, and happy Sunday! I hope everyone is having a nice and productive day so far. I thought it was time for a quick little life update so today is the day you’re going to get one! I’m trying to get my blogging feet wet again. Bare with me as I ease my way back into the blogosphere.

New Year = Brand New Attitude

Every day is a new learning opportunity, right? Which means there’s always time to want to better yourself. Despite any hardships I may have endured this year, I’ve managed to handle them surprisingly well compared to the past. Healthy coping mechanisms and a positive mindset have come a long way. With that in mind, I’ve also been thinking a lot more long-term concerning my family and making sure things are going the way they are supposed to. I still have to stop and tell myself I’m a grown woman sometimes. Anywho, each day I’m working toward getting back on track and strengthening my focus. It’s a challenge of course, but I’ll thank myself later.

#MomLife

My little guy has grown so much, it’s insane. He continues to amaze us each day with how much he learns and retains from just his everyday life. Being that he’s not in school yet, we do the best we can to make sure he’s learning and preparing for when that time comes. We’ve been so lucky to be able to keep him home with us this whole time. I can’t say that I’m even ready to have a complete stranger watch him every day. I’ll cross that bridge when I get there because right now, we’re crossing the 3-year-old attitude bridge. The authority Isaiah thinks he has over us is actually hilarious but I can’t let him know that I think that. He already is such a kind, funny, and generous little one.

New Schedule Alert

I got a new job at the very beginning of the year. Yes, I work! If you didn’t know lol. This has been one of the reasons It’s been nearly impossible to keep up with TianiAngela.com. On top of being a parent and running a household. But I will say this about my job, although it’s been a lot of training and working hard, it’s been so much fun and definitely worth it. The people are great and we are treated even greater. I still can’t believe I’m there sometimes. In the future, I’ll have to share a story about a group of mean girls I worked with in the past and what a work environment is NOT supposed to be like. Thank God I’m not dealing with that! 🙅🏾‍♀️🙌🏾

Animal Crossing: New Horizons

I finally hopped on the Animal Crossing bandwagon! This is newsworthy because 1. I used to play this game when I was in middle school so it holds a special place in my heart. 2. It would be so cool to know if any of you guys have been playing also. I can use some tips if you know some… Share your AC knowledge with me and let’s visit each other’s islands!

So that’s about all I have for today’s catch-up. At least, all I can think of for now. I’m sure there will be more excitement coming up as time goes on. I know this year will be full of new memories with family, friends, etc. and I can’t wait! Remember to be kind to yourself, as we enter this new season/quarter of our lives. K thanks, byeeee!
