Looking for a tasty appetizer to bring to the table this holiday season? Well, look no further because I’ve got the recipe for you. Dont be discouraged either because it’s super simple and easy to make.
I was totally inspired by a ton of holiday Pinterest posts when making these. They were a hit with my family and the dinner party that I attended!
All the ingredients were easy to find as well. I used store-bought puff pastry but it’s also okay to make your own. But, ain’t nobody got time for that! I recommend keeping your puff pastry in the fridge until you’re just about ready to start baking. It does take about 40 minutes to fully thaw outside the fridge. As for the brie cheese, this was my first time working with it. It’s perfectly okay to leave the rind on the cheese. It’s edible and doesn’t change the taste of the Cranberry Brie Bite. Just make sure to keep it chill so it is firm when cutting.
Lastly, before we get into the good stuff, I just have to say that this is just how I made it. There are definitely different ways to go about this recipe but this is what I found worked for me. Now let’s get started!
Things You’ll Need:
• Muffin Tin
Ingredients:
• Puff pastry sheets
• Whole berry cranberry sauce
• Brie cheese
• Oil / Cooking spray

Directions:
1. Grease your muffin tin and make sure to preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Cut brie cheese into bite-size squares.
3. Spread out your puff pastry and divide it into squares.

4. Carefully place the puff pastry square into the muffin tin cups. I say carefully because when the puff pastry is thawed, it is more elastic and easily tearable.

5. Place the brie cheese in each puff pastry square. Then do the same with a dollop (or a spoonful) of whole cranberry sauce.

6. Bake in the oven for about 15-17 minutes or until the pastry is nice and golden.

These babies were scrumptious. I love a good sweet and salty combo. It’s perfect fresh out of the oven and even better the next day after being stored in the refrigerator. I hope you are able to give this little bite a chance. You won’t regret it!
