November 2019 Favorites!

Google Home Mini

I never even considered getting anything like Alexa or the Google Home Mini but I am so happy I did. One day I stumbled across a tweet that said Spotify was giving away free Google Home Minis if you had Spotify Premium. I had no idea what it was but I thought, “Hey it’s free so why not!” This has been a lifesaver to me because everything is hands-free and that’s essential when you have a 2-month-old baby!

Pretty Vulgar Mascara

I am pretty simple when it comes to makeup. For the most part I usually just wear the bare minimum like eyebrow pencil and mascara. When I first got my hands on this I didn’t want to put it down. It’s just so smooth but thick just the way I like it. It really does the job for my super short lashes. I originally got it as a sample in an Influenster box I believe.

Maui Moisture Heal & Hydrate + Shea Butter

I have used quite a few shampoos and conditioner sets since I went completely natural and nothing seemed to solve the problem of my hair being dry but this impressed me on the first use. My hair was literally silky smooth and I could really run my fingers through with no tangles. It’s also super affordable and easy to get a hold of. I got mine in the Harmons section in Bed Bath & Beyond.

Gilmore Girls

It seems like every November I start to watch this whole series over again. I can never get enough of Stars Hallow, Rory, and Lorelai. This show literally makes me feel so content and cozy.

Smoothie Star Body Spray

I usually don’t like sweet-smelling scents but this right here takes the cake. It’s sweet but not too overpowering which makes it so easy to just throw it on whenever and wherever. I also liked that it was so convenient and super affordable as well. I got it at my local Walgreens!

Vanilla Yogurt and Granola

While I was pregnant I wanted to like yogurt so badly but I just couldn’t get past the texture of it. My first meal after giving birth to my son included a vanilla yogurt and I couldn’t stop since. Although I think for this next month I might get tired of it. Ha! I like to throw in granola for a texture difference and to make it more filling. This is the quickest bite when I am rushing and don’t have time to eat. Oh, and did I mention it’s healthier.

Playtex Drop-Ins

I have used these more now than I ever have. Since my son has been struggling with formula, feeding times can sometimes be difficult. They are so convenient, quick, and clean up is a lot easier.

The Honest Company 2-Piece Truly Calming Set

This was gifted to us and I am so happy it was because I probably wouldn’t have thought to get it. This lavender baby wash and shampoo is so inviting and I’m not even the one using it! Not only does it smell amazing but it always leaves my boy smelling so clean and feeling so satisfied before bedtime. That is before he wakes up and isn’t so satisfied again…

Peter Linenthal

We just got these gifted to us recently but these are already a favorite. I love the thought the author put into this book. It is specifically made for babies early stages (0-3months) who are just starting to see color since they start off seeing black and white. Every time I read these to him he is so engaged and alert.
