My First Brain Dump

Sometimes I just want to write how I’m feeling in hopes I can prevent myself from falling into a funk. So I have decided to start a brain dump series. Here I can just pour out how I’m feeling about anything at any time. I encourage you let it all out as well!

There are a few types of people in this world. The “I’ll do it now” person. The “I’ll do it tomorrow” person and the “I’ll do it eventually” person.

I’m officially becoming more like the “I’ll do it eventually” person. Something I told myself I wouldn’t be this year. #ProcrastinationQueen👸🏾

We are only 2 weeks into January so forgive me if you think I am over exaggerating but I feel like a log. I know I shouldn’t feel this way because it’s not like I’m not getting ANYTHING done at all. I’m just getting things done at a super slow sloth rate which makes it seem like I’m doing nothing.

2 weeks ago I thought I was just having “one of those days” but “one of those days” turned into weeks. There’s been a shift in my energy and I can feel it. I am only doing enough to get by for the day.

  • It’s unbelievably hard for me to get out of bed.
  • I’ve been slacking on going to the gym.
  • I started with the junk food again.
  • I don’t feel organized.

I was doing much better before the new year began.

Am I being too hard on myself? Is anyone else feeling this way? My real question for you guys is how do you get yourself motivated? I’m really lacking in that department.

As always, thanks so much for reading! Questions, comments, and feedback are always welcome. If you enjoyed this post, please comment, like and share! Make sure to check out my Instagram; @T_scorner 💋

  1. Sometimes you got to give yourself some slack , and just try try again . Gym stuff I found out from personal experience is best when going for maybe a half hour and then trying to do an hour a week , then you can work up to maybe longer if you have the time . I would do baby steps , that way you don’t burn yourself out .

  2. Your not being hard on yourself. And trust me your not alone. We all go through things. But most importantly you see your weak areas and you can work on them. We are all a work in progress.
