Happy Tuesday everyone! I was in the writing mood and I remembered I saw a prompt somewhere a while back that said to write 4 things you were grateful for in that exact moment. So here we go…
In this moment at 1:39 pm, the 4 things I am grateful for are:
- Being able to stay at home and hold my son while he sleeps. I love being able to look down, see him, and know he’s safe in mommy’s arms.
- To still be able to spend time with my pup. Whether it be just laying down or taking a walk with him and the baby, I enjoy knowing he isn’t alone. While I was pregnant, I worried Jb would be left out but he and Isaiah get along so well!
- Having a roof over our head while its 30 degrees out. Although it’s freezing out, I still love to draw the blinds every morning and allow the sunshine to warm the room up.
- My bed! Yes, my bed. I have the body of a middle-aged woman and I am only 22. I have a bad back, bad ankles, and probably everything else you can think of but since I’ve given birth I’ve had so much pain in my knees! So I like to lay down with a pillow under my knees for maximum comfort.
In this moment, what are you grateful for? A latte? A slice of pizza? Or maybe it’s the walk you might be on right now. Whatever it is, let me know!
P.S. Did you know today was hug day? Sending virtual hugs to anyone who needs it!
As always, thanks so much for reading! Questions, comments, and feedback are always welcome. If you enjoyed this post, please comment, like and share! Make sure to check out my Instagram; @T_scorner 💋
