Has anyone ever heard of the show Bluey?
Yesterday afternoon while I was getting some stuff done at home, I stumbled upon an unfamiliar show on Disney Junior called Bluey.
I’ve always watched kid shows because I’ve always been involved with kids. Whether it be at my babysitting jobs, at the daycare, or even with my own nieces and nephews. I’ve always been up to date. Until now that is.
I had the TV on as background noise for my son and I heard the most real thing! I had to do a double-take to make sure I was still watching Disney Junior.
In the episode “Mums and Dads” Indy wanted to play a game called “Mums and Dads” but Rusty didn’t have the same idea in mind that she did.
Rusty believed that moms stayed home all day to take care of the kids and the house while Indy believed that dads stayed home all day to mow the lawn! Ha!
Later on, their mother told them that wasn’t the case at all.
I loved watching them go back and forth on what stay at home parents do. But, what I loved, even more, was how Disney included such a real-life situation to help break the stay at home parent stereotype.
What do you guys think? Have you ever seen Bluey?
As always, thanks so much for reading! Questions, comments, and feedback are always welcome. If you enjoyed this post, please comment, like and share! Make sure to check out my Instagram; @T_scorner 💋
