A Pregnant Woman’s Food Wish-List

Hi everyone and happy hump day! How is everyone today? I found this screenshot of all the foods I wanted to eat but couldn’t due to hyperemesis gravidarum aka severe morning sickness aka hell, and I thought I’d share.

It was around this time last year when I found out I was going to be having my first baby. While excited and scared, I also couldn’t wait to divulge in a ton of junk food and not care what people think. My excuse? Because I’m pregnant.

Too bad I couldn’t eat ANY of the foods I wanted to. I lived off of bland soup broth, barely buttered toast, and maybe some dry pasta. If I even tried to eat something with flavor it would end in my head in a bucket or a trip to the toilet.

So instead of taking that risk, I would look at pictures of food I wanted to eat, fantasize about it, and add it to a food wishlist!

I look at this now and giggle because I would really look at this list daily and just imagine what all these foods would taste like. This is also when I discovered Diana DeLaFuente on Youtube. She is such a down to earth, don’t give a damn home-cook. Everything she made looked delicious! I saved a bunch of her videos on my Youtube. I will link some of the foods I wanted below. I also talked about a craving I had that isn’t quite normal in a previous blog post. Do you remember what it is?

I hope you enjoyed this little look back and I hope you all fulfill any cravings you are having today!

Links to some of the foods I obsessed over

Penne in Vodka Sauce

Skillet Lasagna

Greek Marinated Chicken

Molly’s Mac and Cheese

Did I make anyone else hungry?

As always, thanks so much for reading! Questions, comments, and feedback are always welcome. If you enjoyed this post, please comment, like and share! Make sure to check out my Instagram; @T_scorner 💋
