“Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall.” — F. Scott Fitzgerald
I’m so grateful to live in a part of the world where I can experience the seasons. It can truly be magical sometimes. We are right in the middle of Fall so the leaves have changed colors while some trees are already bald. The temperature has gone down. It’s almost time to start binge-watching Gilmore Girls. It’s cozy season y’all and I’m going to give you a few tips to ensure that you stay cozy.
Invest in a comfy blanket
Nothing says cozy like a soft and fluffy blanket. Lucky for me, my grandma gifted me with the most velvety blanket. I love the comfort of being covered with something. Even if it’s not cold I still need to have at least my bottom half covered to feel comfortable.
Set the tone
Take a moment to set the tone. Speak it into existence. Tell yourself you want to be calm and cozy. Remind yourself to live in the moment.
Light a candle
Nowadays you can make a room smell any way you want it to. Scents that we love can trigger an emotional part of our brain releasing those feel-good chemicals. Some scents I’ve been enjoying are pumpkin jejdh, Tranquil Lotus, Lavender Chamomile, and Midnight Sands.
Let light in
During the day, since I have amazing lighting and a satisfying view, I like to open up my blinds or windows. Being able to see the beautiful fall colors always adds a bit more brightness to my day. My absolute favorite time to have the window open is when it’s raining. That’s the perfect time to get cozy.
Make comfort food
What’s that one food you always turned to when you were feeling down or just wanted a little piece of home? Make that! It’s just another easy way to feel cozy and also express some gratitude.
Enjoy family time
The ultimate trick to getting extra cozy this fall is cuddling up with your family at home. Nothing beats the warm touch of your significant other or tiny hugs from your tiny human.

I hope you guys are getting some time to relax and get cozy at home. Now it’s time for me to hop on the couch and kick my feet up. How are you getting cozy this fall?

Blankets are key lol ! I have so many blankets scattered around my house as my dog loves to steal mine and wrap himself into a burrito.
