My Top 2 “Windows Down Moment” Songs

Can you imagine a world without music? I can’t. Music is enjoyed by millions worldwide and can be used in a wide variety of ways. Sometimes it can lift the mood or it can help make a movie scene make sense. Today I want to share 2 of my favorite songs at the moment. I think they are the perfect songs to listen to on a sunny day while driving with your windows open. C’mon, envision the vibe. You’re driving down an empty highway, the wind is hitting your face, and you’re belting out the words to your favorite song as if you were in the shower. Those are the moments that make songs so awesome. They can mean many things to so many people. These songs bring me pure joy and good vibes. It brightens my mood as soon as I hear the beats drop. Maybe you’ll like them too. Let’s get into it!

3 Nights

I’ve just recently discovered Dominic Fike flipping through the radio stations and I’m so happy that I did. I felt connected to 3 Nights immediately after hearing it. Lucky for me I was pulled over so I was able to whip out my phone, open Snapchat, and find out the name of the song that way. I couldn’t let this be one of those moments where you let s good song slip through your head and you’re walking around all day humming or thinking “how did that one song go”?

What I love about this song is not only how uplifting the beat is but the lyrics are just so mysterious. It’s about a girl who plays hard to get but Dominic will try anything to get to her. It also makes me want to go back to Florida. Dominic grew up in Naples, Florida which he mentions in his song.

After hearing this one song, I knew there had to be other hidden gems. I ended up listening to his whole album and I really enjoyed it. It’s very laidback. If I’m not mistaken, he wrote and produced all but 2 songs on the album. Some other songs I like by him are “Socks” and “She Wants My Money”. Give them a listen!

Peaches

You all know who Justin Bieber is. Even if you don’t like him, you probably still know him. I don’t recall if I ever mentioned this on my blog but I have a special kind of love for Justin. I may not listen to him like I used to but I’ll still always enjoy him and his music. However, it was a complete shock when my younger nephew introduced this song to me. It is the perfect song to sing along to. It’s catchy and it’s so cute! It gives me old-school 90s vibes but if you watch the video you may get a 70s vibe as well. All in all just a great song and video.

Also, thanks to Justin for introducing 2 new great artists. Giveon is an American singer and songwriter from sunny California and Daniel Caesar is also a singer/songwriter but from up north, Canada! Well, those are my top 2 favorite songs at the moment! Check out these other songs that’ll guarantee a happy mood!
