Hey guys! Thanks for clicking my first blog post of 2019! Don’t you hate that it can be so easy to fall for the wrong person but so hard to be happy? Does that even make sense? Below are some signs I wish I had realized sooner.

He tries to change you
There should be no point where he wants you to be or act like somebody other than yourself. You shouldn’t feel small because you don’t live up to his expectations. It’s actually his loss because he’s the one who doesn’t like the REAL you. Your perfect match will accept you no matter what.
Other people see it
If other people tell you that they are concerned about your relationship then there is probably a reason. I will never forget the day my therapist at the time told me I was in a toxic relationship and I just brushed her off. When you are blinded by “love” anything can slip through the cracks.
He tries to keep you a secret
Okay, this is key. Maybe he’s just not that into you. It definitely hurts when your so-called boyfriend keeps you hidden from his friends or family. Or when he doesn’t want to be seen in public/pictures with you. Are you really even his girlfriend then? Or are you just girl #4? Either way, you should never feel secondary.
You cry more than you do laugh (and not happy tears)
I can not express how exhausting it is to argue over and over again. ESPECIALLY about the same things. Clearly, something isn’t clicking. I got so tired of it that I lost every single care in the world. You’ll soon realize that it’s not that serious.
It just straight up SUCKS
You probably knew deep down that it sucked. I know I did, but I always believed that each time would get better. Think about your long-term happiness. Are you in a happy relationship? Or does it just suck…

UPDATE!!! I’m starting a YouTube channel guys! I am super excited to start posting videos but still very nervous. So stay tuned for that. Also, my dog JB Honsel was featured on Oprah magazine’s Instagram page! How crazy is that? My baby was born to be a star. As well as my plush slippers!🐶
