Hello there everyone! Happy Sunday! I hope you guys are enjoying your weekend. Do you have any plans? Did you do anything fun? I had a pretty good weekend. I was happy I got to spend some time with my best girlfriends. We laughed so hard our cheeks still hurt! Since I don’t have a blog post scheduled for today I thought I’d save myself the extra hassle and just do a quick little life update!
I also hosted paint and sip for my best friend’s birthday. Just our same tight close-knit group having a good time, drinking wine, and painting whatever we wanted. It was honestly exactly what I needed. Painting is the perfect thing to do if you just want to zone out, focus, and just relax on something other than real life.
I took a week off from blogging and social media. The social media part isn’t much of a surprise though. I just wanted a break from all of the post planning, editing, and you know all that good stuff. Because it does take a lot out of you. So I’m happy I took that time to just relax as much as possible.
My son’s first birthday is right around the corner (Oct 2nd). I’ve been scrambling, doing lots of preparation, and planning just to make sure my littles guys 1st birthday is the best it can be under the circumstances. I still can’t believe how much time has passed and how fast. His 6 month check in seemed like it was just yesterday.
I’ll be vlogging all the fun decorating and preparations so definitely look for that. This brings me to my next topic which is my YouTube channel. I also haven’t filmed anything but I just did my own box braids for the first time so I made a video out of it! I just finished editing the video so you can go and watch that now if you’d like. Especially if you want to see me struggle. The process was a gigantic struggle and I can’t see myself doing it again. By myself, at least.
For dinner today I decided on a comforting meal. I haven’t had spaghetti and meat sauce in so long. It reminds me of being a kid and today that’s kind of how I want to feel. I like using sweet Italian sausage as opposed to something like ground beef or turkey. I think it adds more flavor. I’ll also cook up some sautéed broccoli with chopped up garlic. Oh, and can’t forget the garlic bread (Zay’s favorite)!
Finally, I wanted to say thank you so much to everyone who has been supporting my blog. We have reached and passed 400 followers! It feels so good to know that there are so many wonderful people out there that want to keep adding to my blogging fam. If you’re new here, welcome! If you’ve been here, wazzzzzzupppppp? Another fun announcement is that I’ve achieved 200 posts on TianiAngela! I’m so excited to meet even more of you and for what opportunities await for this blog.
I hope you guys enjoyed this little update. What have you been up to? What’s for dinner tonight? Are you familiar with this Scream reference? Let me know in the comments below!
